Set a mobile data limit on the Galaxy S3, S4 or S5

Data limits are the bane of many people's existence. They're a necessary evil but always seem to run out just when you need them and then you get hit with crazy excess charges or 'shaping' that cuts your data flow to a trickle. Galaxy devices make it nice and easy for you to set a mobile data limit to avoid running out of data entirely or bringing on some bill shock at the end of the month.

Record and save music from the FM tuner

Granted, listening to the radio isn’t so popular anymore considering you can get music streaming from Spotify or Stereomood among the many other services, but radio has less of a draining impact on your battery (not to mention doesn’t use your mobile data). If you don’t have a ton of songs already saved on your microSD card, or you're looking to free up some space, radio is a good option. You can even record FM radio and store it on your internal memory!

How to install Android KitKat on the Galaxy S3

We realize that all these different firmware options for various different Galaxy S3 smartphones might be a little confusing, so we thought we'd spell out just what you have to do if you want to manually install the latest official Samsung firmware version of Android 4.4 KitKat on your Galaxy S3 rather than wait around for the carrier rollout to happen.
No matter what model Galaxy S3 or version of KitKat, we'll show you how it's done.

Because it only takes one over the air update for a very nice person to make it available for everyone, as soon as the firmware is available for your model you can put it on your phone yourself rather than waiting for the carrier batching process which may have you waiting for weeks or even months to see the latest Android version. There's nothing dodgy about doing it this way either: Samsung even provides you with the tools to do it.
